Moderat - II – Tour Edition

General Infos

The original Moderat “II” live tour ended abruptly after just 11 stops with a motorcycle accident of Sascha Ring aka Apparat. All further dates for the extensive world tour had to be postponed until 2014.

While Sascha was recovering his fractured leg, the second single “Gita” was released in October. UNICEF chose the song for their non violence campaign and the band gladly gave their blessing for a video clip filmed by UNICEF in Paraguay.

The year 2014 starts with a big bang for Moderat. Sascha’s recovery is going well and he is literally back on his feet. The third single “Last Time”, a song previously only available on the Deluxe CD of the album, has it’s release on January 10. In addition to various versions by the band Jon Hopkins did contribute a wonderful guest remix for the 2x10inch.

Coinciding with the restart of the album world tour end of January 2014, Moderat “II” is available as a very special limited 2xCD+DVD Tour Edition, only available as a physical product for fans and collectors.

CD 01 features the original album plus the new single “Last Time” in 3 versions. Additionally you´ll find a previously unreleased “Bad Kingdom” edit by Robag Wruhme.

CD 02 features the entire original album in instrumental versions. As bonus tracks the disc contains the instrumental version of “Last Time”, the Jon Hopkins Remix and a previously unreleased instrumental version of Anstam’s Dustified Dance Edit of “Gita”.

The Bonus DVD features the 2 official videos for “Bad Kingdom” and “Last Time”, as well as the UNICEF video for “Gita”, a video interview and a making of for the “Last Time” video.

The tour trailer 2014 gives a glance of what to expect from Moderat live and the upcoming live dates, and the Slices interview from the beginning of 2010 simply had to be included as one of the most special interviews in Moderat history (Moderat going skydive!)
