Catnapp announces the TRUST Remixes EP

Buenos Aires artists Catnapp and Tufi Meme hand out a reconceived version of ‘despierta’, as the 1st single off Catnapp’s TRUST Remixes EP to be released on 23.06.2023

Since last Friday, a fresh pack of ‘despierta’ has been available on all streaming platforms – the original, final track on TRUST with O.L.I.V.I.A now has a music video, and the ethereal rework finds its place in TRUST Remixes.

A year after the release of Catnapp’s latest album on Monkeytown, this project finds the producer handing over her music to a cast of fellow club visionaries, each teasing out encoded threads and expanding these into surprising new shapes. Incl. takes from Diessa, Kamixlo, Lila Tirando A Violeta & Sueuga, Scratchclart, Talpah and Tufi Meme.

Taken as a whole, the TRUST Remixes EP reveals the depth of vision and density at the heart of Catnapp’s productions, while shedding light on a whole community of producers expanding on the language of modern dance music.
